Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign their left-back, Sergio Reguilon for €30million.
Reguilon agreed to personal terms with Jose Mourinho’s side after talks with Manchester United.
Recall that the 23-year-old defender had drawn the interest of Man United and chelsea in the past.
This was revealed by respected Italian sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, via his Twitter account on Wednesday morning.
Romano tweeted, “Just in: Sergio Reguilon to Tottenham, here we go soon! The agreement has been reached in the last few hours with Real Madrid for €30m as final fee.
“Reguilon agreed personal terms with Spurs and accepted to join also after talks with MUFC. Only paperworks to be signed.
“Tottenham have conceded to Real Madrid BOTH clauses they’ve asked for Reguilon: buy back and pre-emption.
“MUFC have always refused any clause to bring back the player – it was the main issue.”
