President Donald Trump is reportedly worried after coming into contact with people who have tested positive to coronavirus.
They include the Brazilian official confirmed to have contracted the disease.
“He is very concerned about all the people he met who have it, including the Brazilian,” CNN quoted a source as saying.
Fabio Wajngarten, spokesperson to Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday,
He attended the meeting Bolsonaro had with Trump and the Vice President, Mike Pence, at Mar-a-Lago last weekend.
Meanwhile, Trump has declared that he had no fears about being exposed.
“We did nothing very unusual, we sat next to each other for a period of time,” he told reporters in the Oval Office.
White House Press Secretary, Stephanie Grisham, also issued a statement.
“Both the President and Vice President had almost no interactions with the individual who tested positive and do not require being tested at this time.
“The White House Medical Unit and the United States Secret Service has been working closely with various agencies to ensure every precaution is taken to keep the First & Second Families, and all White House staff healthy”, it ready.
Coronavirus has claimed 5,000 lives, infected 135,000 people and affected 100 countries.
